SECURITY COUNCIL
The Security Council has primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security. It takes the lead in determining the existence of a threat to the peace or act of aggression and calls upon the parties to a dispute to settle it by peaceful means.
HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL
The Human Rights Council is an inter-governmental body within the United Nations system responsible for strengthening the promotion and protection of human rights around the globe and for addressing situations of human rights violations.
SPECPOL
The Special Political and Decolonization Committee deals with a variety of subjects which include those related to decolonization, refugees and human rights, peacekeeping, mine action, outer space, public information, atomic radiation and University for Peace.
CLIMATE COMMITTEE
This committee addresses the urgent challenges posed by climate change, focusing on mitigation, adaptation, and international cooperation to address the global climate emergency. It includes delegations from a wide variety of nations, including indigenous peoples and nations impacted by the climate crisis.
WORLD HEALTH
The World Health Committee aims to combat diseases, strengthen health systems, and improve overall population health. It provides technical support to countries, sets international health standards and guidelines, monitors and assesses health trends, and coordinates international responses to health emergencies.
EU committee
This committee simulates the decision-making body of the European Union, focusing on issues specific to European integration, cooperation, and policy. It includes primarily EU member delegations but can also included other delegations when discussing topics relative to international relations or global issues on which the EU takes a stand.
